Ford is bringing their 2017 Escape to the new year with amazing updates, making it yet again the top choice for drivers who want a versatile SUV. Offered in either front- or all-wheel drive, the Escape will typically be linked to a six-speed automatic transmission. Most customers will find that their Escape is equipped with a new turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which produces 179 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque. Another option is the outstanding 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which is now offered on even more trim levels, and works to deliver 245 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque.

Design of Ford Escape

The Escape is available in three main trim levels, including the S, SE, and Titanium. The S trim is perfect for business owners who are looking to add to their fleet, while the SE is the fan favorite trim, offering endless customization options, excellent standard equipment, and a terrific low starting MSRP of $25,100. The Titanium trim offers luxury and high-end amenities. Every trim will offer a great experience, with standard features including LED taillights, 17-inch steel wheels, and an easily configurable interior with a 60/40-split folding and reclining rear seat. A six-speaker stereo system is linked to Bluetooth, as well as a SYNC tech interface with AppLink smartphone integration for Android and Apple. The SE trim level will equip a keyless entry keypad, steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, rear privacy glass, satellite radio and upgraded cloth upholstery. Available with the SE trim is a gorgeous panoramic sunroof, as well as a navigation system. Ford has prioritized safety with their Escape, and every model will come equipped with blind-spot mirrors, a rearview camera, and the brand's MyKey system to set parameters for teenage drivers. Ford will also offer a range of additional driver assistance options, like forward collision alerts, lane-departure warnings and intervention, and a blind-spot warning system with cross-traffic alerts.
